Union's Got Talent Rules & Regulations
All contestants must submit their signed application with their video submission by Friday, October 3, 2025. Audition submissions will NOT be accepted after this date.
Every contestant must sign a media release form before they audition. A Parent/Guardian must sign the media release form if the contestant is under the age of 18. Media release forms must accompany audition submissions.
First-place winners of previous UGT competitions are not eligible to participate in the competition.
Contestants of all ages are eligible to audition. A Parent/Guardian must be present with contestants under the age of 18.
Contestants must live, work, or attend school in Union County to be eligible to audition for Union's Got Talent.
If you are auditioning with a group, at least one member of that group must be from Union Country.
Professional entertainers are not eligible. A professional is anyone whose livelihood is from the type of performance entered in the competition.
All acts will have a strict 3-minute time limit. This does not include setup, which is limited to 2 minutes. Acts that exceed the time limit will be cut off and may be disqualified.
Accompaniment is limited to Phone or USB Drive and must contain only the item being used for the performance. Vocals are limited to background only. Lead vocals are not permitted. Lip Sync and Karaoke performances are not permitted.
The following categories will be permitted for performance: singing, dancing, tap, instrumentals, comedy, drama, and novelty acts.
All acts must be appropriate for family and TV audiences. Inappropriate material will result in disqualification. The UGT staff reserves the right to make the final determination on the eligibility of all acts.

A sound system and microphone will be provided as well as a piano. Contestants must use the system provided and are not permitted to bring their own.
Contestants are responsible for providing any props/costumes/instruments they will need for their act.
The use of fire and /or pyrotechnics, dangerous equipment, and live animals is strictly prohibited. Contestants may not throw anything off the stage during their performance.
Contestants chosen for the finale will perform their act live on November 15, 2025, at DMK Black Box Theater
Semi-finalists are permitted to perform a selection that is different from their audition submission at the semi-finals. HOWEVER, if chosen as a Finalist they must perform what they did at the semi-finals. All group acts must include the same participants at the finals that were presented at the semi-finals. The director reserves the right to make recommendations and/or changes to any act as necessary for the Finals. Call Back will be on October 25, 2025 at Kawameeh Middle school in Union
Judges will score the finalists on overall talent, showmanship and creativity. I removed this bullet and included it in the bullet below.
The show will be judged by a panel of professionals from the performing arts field. The decision of the judges is final.
All rules will be strictly enforced. Any violations will result in immediate disqualification.
